Once in a while you meet someone who you totally click with. That’s how it was for Eve and Heather. Even though they weren’t in the same kindergarten class, they hit it off right away. They knew their friendship was meant to be when they showed up wearing the same shirt!

I’ve been working on Eve’s Kindergarten Album, using Stampin’ Up’s My Digital Studio. It’s not Digital Scrapbooking software, it’s a digital papercrafting tool! You can make cards and calendars and flyers and more! But I’ve mostly been using it for scrapbooking so far. Eve picked the Sunny Delights Designer Kit as the theme for her album. It’s got great colors in it for kindergarten, and it very much reflects her personality! I tweaked a few things on this page so it would match their shirts better.

Every time I use My Digital Studio, I am more and more impressed with the ease of use, the ease of customization, and the array of tools that it has! Contact me for more information about how to order your own copy.

I love this new set from the Occasions Mini catalog! Just Beachy is just adorable! I love the flip flops, and the expressions on the faces of the fish are hilarious! When I saw Friday’s color challenge from Stampin’ Addicts, I knew that this was the set to use! The colors in the challenge are Riding Hood Red, Pacific Point, Summer Sun, and Chocolate Chip. I had to add a little Creamy Caramel for the sand. I really try to follow most color challenges exactly, but this one I just needed a sand color!

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Summer Sun, Riding Hood Red, Pacific Point
Paper: Summer Sun, Riding Hood Red, Creamy Caramel, Whisper White, Good Morning Sunshine DSP
Accessories: Word Window Punch, Paper Snips

I stamped the sun and the bucket onto colored card stock and cut them out. The flip flops were stamped onto Whisper White card stock and cut out. I love my Paper Snips! It makes the cutting so easy! Eve gave this to her kindergarten teacher for her birthday today. Happy Birthday, Mrs. Sauer!

These 3″x3″ cards are quick, easy, and super cute! They could be used as kids’ Valentines, or just as fun notes to stick in a child’s lunch box, backpack , or locker. I just love the facial expressions on the Wild About You animals. They are too cute! You could easily make this card with any of the animals. I just picked these two for an example.

There will be a couple kids at the Valentine workshop, so Eve is going to be in charge of their projects. She is super excited to be a “junior demonstrator,” and has been hard at work making samples! They will be making some 3″x3″ cards, just the perfect size for giving to classmates! They will be coloring in their creations with Stampin’ Up’s watercolor pencils and blender pens. Although I love, love, love the Watercolor Crayons for my personal use, I think the pencils work better for kids. They still have that great watercolor look!
