I have one more Purim card for you. As I was making yesterday’s card I realized that the little crowns from Family Accessories Too would fit perfectly on top of the letters from the Jumbo Outline Alphabet. And that they looked like mini versions of the crown from Perfect Princess. So I combined those ideas, threw in a top note die cut for luck, and here is what I got!

As I was making Purim cards, I realized that with the crown in Family Accessories Too I could make a cute little girl dressed up like Queen Esther. And if you look at it right, the karate outfit kind of looks like something Mordecai would wear. So with that I mind, I created this adorable (if I do say so myself) Purim card with kids in costume. I used my Stampin’ Write Markers to color it in for a richer color.  I dotted the “i” with a rhinestone brad for a little bling.

Purim is coming up next week! Whoo-hoo! (Purim is the story of Queen Esther saving the Jews from the Wicked Haman. If you are unfamiliar with the holiday, see the explanation on Judaism 101.) One of the foods associated with Purim is the Hamantaschen. These are triangular shaped pastries, filled traditionally with poppy seeds. Personally, I fill mine with cherry pie filling, apricot preserves, or a peanut butter/chocolate chip combo. Yum! To make them, you cut the dough into a circle, the fold it into a triangle. Using my fabulous new Circle Scissors Plus, I recreated one out of paper! I sponged the edges of the circle to make it look more realistic. Enjoy!
