Both my mother-in-law and my father-in-law had surgery during the last couple of weeks, so of course I sent them cards. I wanted cards that suited their personalities — that’s one of the beautiful things about making your own cards! My father-in-law’s card is cute and funny, my mother-in-law’s is more understated and elegant. I hope they brought them some joy! Here’s hoping that they both continue to heal well.
